The movie is based on true story that is on writer Susanna Kaysen’s account of her 18-month stay at a mental hospital in the 1960s. The story of the movie moves in the Claymoore, which is a private mental hospital and full of noisy and crazy people. All in all, James Mangold is directed this film quite nicely with a very good screenplay. Because of this movie Angelina Jolie wins the best actress in supporting role in 1999 academy award.
